Nicole comes from a multicultural background, having roots in China, Hong Kong, and Australia. She is a registered psychologist with experience in providing assessments and tailored individual and group-based interventions in educational, developmental, and vocational settings.
Nicole works with individuals aged 13+ using a strength-based, person-centred approach. She has worked with NDIS and TAC/WorkCover clients presenting a range of issues including stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship difficulties, chronic pain, workplace issues, substance use, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), and various neurodiversity presentations.
Nicole employs a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR).
In addition to English, Nicole also provides psychological services in both Mandarin and Cantonese.
