Dr Joyce Lee is a registered Clinical and Forensic Psychologist who has extensive experience working in both public and private mental health settings. Joyce has a warm, collaborative and nonjudgmental therapeutic style and works to develop a strong therapeutic alliance with each client within a person-centred framework.

She is skilled in providing a comprehensive biopsychosocial assessment in order to guide evidence-based treatment for each individual. She is passionate about creating a safe therapeutic space where clients can be supported to make meaningful changes.

Joyce works with adults experiencing a broad range of psychological concerns and disorders, including anxiety and mood disorders, trauma, adjustment to life transitions, interpersonal difficulties, emotion dysregulation and low self-esteem. She has a special interest in supporting individuals to recover from Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and social anxiety. Her primary treatment approaches include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, mindfulness-based approaches and motivational interviewing. She has specialist training in Cognitive Processing Therapy. In addition to her clinical practice, Joyce has authored research papers examining workplace stress and trauma.
